Introduction to pickleball offer a structured and engaging way for beginners to learn the fundamentals of the sport, organizing a pickleball tournament and commercializing with merchandise.
The Dodgeball course introduces the sport of Dodgeball that involves learning the rules as well as basic skill techniques, namely throwing, catching, dodging, and blocking. The learning sessions stresses on the learning attitudes that would be assessed at the end of this course. This course also emphasizes communication, leadership and teamwork through the implementation of special projects with community service elements, usually in the form of clinics for young people.
This course introduces and reveals to the students about silat athletics in terms of theory, technique and practice. Students will learn the background, rules and traditions of pencak silat. Students will also be emphasized on self-discipline. In addition, students will also learn the basic movements and combined movements of pencak silat in a practical service. The learning sessions emphasize the learning attitude that will be evaluated at the end of this course. Subteras Pencak Silat also emphasizes communication, leadership and teamwork through the implementation of special projects that serve the community.
This course will provide students with proper exposure and understanding of the importance and methods of practising a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise. Through the exercise practicum sessions, students will be exposed to the right knowledge, techniques, and skills of movement to improve self-confidence, and physical fitness in addition to reducing the risk of injury during exercise. In general, continuous healthy lifestyle practices can contribute to a healthier life for the students and the community.
Sports Subteras provides an introduction to the concept of e-Sports. Through this course, students will expose students to e-Sports theory and the implementation of a project. At the end of this course, students will choose a special project with the guidance of a facilitator so that the planned project can have a positive impact on community development.
The volleyball sub core provides an introduction to the sport of volleyball which involves learning sessions of rules as well as basic techniques, namely servicing, buffering, baiting, stonewalling and blocking. The learning sessions emphasize the learning attitudes that will be evaluated at the end of the course. This sub core also emphasizes communication, leadership and teamwork through the implementation of the project community. The community service element is usually in the form of clinics and competitions for young people with the local community. At the end of this course students will learn the basic techniques of playing volleyball and form effective communication skills. To develop good relationships and interact with a multicultural society effectively. Adopting a moral and ethical attitude while being responsible for the performance of the assigned tasks.
High-intensity exercise, or HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training), was introduced by Japanese professor Dr. Izumi Tabata in the late 1990s and was used as the sub-core of TABATA sports in the physical training of Olympic competitors at the time. Tabata workouts can raise your metabolic rate, help you quickly reach your fitness goals, and improve your stamina. Tabata exercise is a basic form of exercise that is good for people who prefer to work out at home or in other comfortable locations and who want to burn fat and lose weight quickly. Depending on the person's ability, each exercise movement is done for 20 to 40 seconds, with a 10-second break in between to catch one's breath. The next exercise is to repeat each of the prescribed sets while listening to upbeat music, such as techno. The primary goal of this sport's sub-core at UNIMAS is to help students grow healthier and more active, as well as to prepare them mentally and physically for the next stage of their careers. This includes being ready for in-person interviews, which are particularly common in the public sector. The prerequisites for enrollment in these sports sub-cores are a serious commitment to raising one's level of both mental and physical fitness, (ESPECIALLY WORKOUT BODY POSTURE AND STAMINA). Subteras Bola Sepak will expose students to an introduction of football, how soccer is played, the rules of the game, the use of the field, basic strokes in bola sepak and the basic techniques as a footballer.
Kembara Diri is a self-exploration journey that empowers individuals to discover their true potential, values, and purpose. Through reflective exercises, interactive activities, and discussions, participants will develop self-awareness, resilience, and confidence; the key qualities found in both personal growth and sports. By embracing discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, they will learn how to overcome challenges, recognize their strengths, and cultivate a growth mindset. This journey also incorporates the excitement of exploring new places, allowing participants to step out of their comfort zones, adapt to new environments, and gain fresh perspectives, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling and purpose-driven life.
The course is created with the intent of enabling students to learn the chess game in a very structured manner and be able to reach a level of tournament participation at the completion of the course. At the end of the course, students would be familiar with chess board, the pieces, their value, movements, check, checkmate, stalemate, basic opening, ending technique and FIDE tournament rules. In addition, students are also exposed to tactical themes like pin, fork, skewer, double attack, back rank mate, discovered attack, destroying the defender, tricks and traps.
3x3 basketball features three players in each team as opposed to the five in traditional basketball games. There's only one substitute allowed on the bench in 3x3 basketball, who can enter the game anytime during a dead ball situation by tagging an outgoing player. Its a small group of team and everyone gets to involve to play.


Subteras badminton will expose students to an introduction of badminton, how badminton is played, the rules of the game, the use of the court, basic strokes in badminton and the basic techniques as a badminton player.
This course focuses on the basic learning of silat for the tournament.
The focus of this course is to expose students to outdoor recreation activities, such as hiking, camping, high ropes and challenging water activities in a fun and safe ways.
Sepak Takraw is a traditional sport from the time of Kesultanan Melayu. Basic sepaktakraw is offered to students in order to provide exposure and knowledge on how to perform proper exercises and stretches. In addition to giving input about the rules found in the sport of sepak takraw. Students also have the opportunity to learn theoretically and practically which involves some basic skills in sepaktakraw.


To teach players across five learning stages “Foundation, Development, Intermediate, Advanced and Elite“ as each one representing a progressive increase in skill and complexity for the developing player.
Apart from exposure to soft skills, this course will expose students to archery such as in recurve bow. In addition to exposing students to basic archery techniques, students will also be exposed to the basic rules of archery games based on World Archery standards. At the end of this course, students will be able to master basic archery skills and fundamental knowledge related to archery.
THIS COURSE FOCUS ON KNOWLEDGE ABOUT DIET AND EXERCISE.
Running is a continuation of athletics that involves various types of running such as fun run, 5km, 10km, Half Marathon, Full Marathon and any distances. Students will be expose to the basics of running, proper exercise and stretching exercises before running, equipment such as shoes, shirts and appropriate pants. Teaching sessions are theoretical and practical.
