The course provide some basic understanding with stress, create more awareness about own reaction towards stress as well how to manage own and other's stress better. By understanding own and other stress and its coping mechanims, it improves resilience and psychological wellbeing.
Saving Bolt & Tom exposes students to our role in ensuring the basic rights of pet animals (to co-exist) and social responsibility to educate others. In line with the core principle of volunteerism, this course collaborate efforts with the stakeholders including the SSPCA, SOS and DVS to achieve our mutual community goals.
The objective of this course was to examine the level of emergency preparedness among the students. Trained student can better protect themselves and others. in this regard, planning and designing comprehensive educational programs are necessary for student to disasters or emergencies.
As a nature volunteer student will contribute to the promotion of environmental sustainability. We inspire people to learn about the nature. Student lead nature program in schools or communities as a community base programs. Through these activities the communities and students improve their knowledge base and gain a sense of responsiblity towards nature
The course provides the basic knowledge of soap making. In this course, the students are introduced to the type of soap ingredients and their benefits for soap. The cost and profit of soap making will be taught in the course. After completed this course, the students should be able to determine the ingredients used and their benefit. The student also can invent new recipe of soap making and finally they can estimate the profit margin of natural soap business.
The primary objective of this course is to increase awareness among the younger generation about the importance of preserving and protecting the coastal ecosystem for both present and future generations. Through the program, students will have the opportunity to explore key topics related to coastal current issues and actively participate in planning and organizing volunteer initiatives aimed at promoting inspiration and awareness.
The course is intended to prepare students to assume roles as volunteer program leaders and managers, or to improve their skills in existing roles with volunteer organizations. The fundamental design of the course is based on learning through critical thought in and about leadership and management roles with volunteers.
