For this course, student will be exposed and given an insight on the nature of organizing an event. They will be expose to the settings of the event. For instance, settings of the event include the categories, venues, logistics, committees and much more elements when organizing an event. At the end of this course, students will have much more inputs about event management for them to be prepare for future needs.
This course aims to equip students with the essential skills to communicate effectively in university life and professional settings, including written and verbal communication, and presentation techniques.
Leadership course explores the fundamental principles of leadership, equipping students with the skills and mindset needed to inspire and influence the community. Through case studies, discussions, and practical exercises, students will learn about leadership styles, emotional intelligence, decision-making, conflict resolution, and team dynamics. Students will be given exposure to an aspiring leader and the ability to create leadership skills. This course will provide actionable insights to help students lead with confidence and effectiveness.This course is built for student to have the passion and patience in managing and leading an event or being part of the organization. This course will teach the basic theories & practicals to explore the key skills needed for organizational leadership either as a leader or as a follower in student’s organization in UNIMAS.

This comprehensive course aims to empower students with the knowledge and practical experience needed to embark on a journey in the field of robotics.
The STEM Ambassador course prepares students to promote STEM education and careers through communication and outreach. Students will learn how to engage communities, inspire young learners, and create interactive STEM activities. The course focuses on hands-on projects and engagement to make STEM exciting and accessible. By the end, students will be able to design and deliver STEM programs that encourage interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Event Master is a course that provides the students with basic planning, execution, and post management of events, which includes the paperwork managements, budget planning, organization of manpower, technical and logistic requirements, and overall supervision towards achieving the aim and objectives set for the events. The course also emphasizes on the professionalism and ethics related towards handling the events regarding manpower, budgetary matters and any related issues that affects the achievements and impact of the event.
This course raises awareness and provides exposure to financial management for students in campus/university. It also fosters students' interest in managing their finances well while on campus. The course covers daily cash flow management, identifying monthly expenses and debts, and managing daily expenses using Android applications. Additionally, it provides basic knowledge of health insurance and safe investments, ensuring that students are better prepared and less likely to be deceived by offers from external parties while studying at higher learning institutions.
Adventure seekers is an introductory course on hiking basics with an emphasis on setting up an exercise program, reading and planning routes, personal safety, and health benefits. The courses are designed to provide educational opportunities that empower students to practice lifelong positive health behaviours. In particular, this course will prepare students to experience several local hikes where they can apply basic hiking skills. Additional topics to be covered include: basic compass and/or map use, food and water guidelines, Leave No Trace principles, treatment of common hiking injuries, clothing/equipment considerations and daypack essentials. Students will be required to complete hikes at trail locations regionally. Students must provide their own transportation or arrange transportation from the university to trail locations. While previous hiking experience is not required, the physical ability to navigate moderately difficult terrains is strongly advised.
Leadership in a career is a crucial element that helps an individual guide, inspire, and manage a team more effectively. The career leadership course aims to develop both fundamental and advanced leadership skills, whether at the entry level or for those already in managerial positions.
