Netball 2 is designed for students (both female and male) with little to no experience in netball. In this course, students will be exposed from technical; passing, defending, and shooting, to tactical; strategies in netball games. Through practical and expert guidance, students will gain the skills and knowledge to play real netball games.
The basketball course is designed to provide an opportunity for individuals to be part of a team and develop a passion for the exciting sport. Students will learn about the theory and practice the basic skills that include ball handling, dribbling, passing, shooting and game stategies.
The boardgames course is designed to expose students to XiangQi and International Chess. Students will learn about the theories, rules, movements, and some basic game stategies to win games.
Subteras Badminton provides an introduction to the sport of badminton which involves learning the rules and basic techniques, namely serve, forehand, backhand, drop, smash and strategy in the game of badminton for singles and doubles events (men and women). The learning sessions emphasize the learning attitude that will be evaluated at the end of this course. Subteras Badminton 1 also emphasizes communication, leadership and teamwork through the implementation of special projects that have elements of community service.
Subteras badminton will expose students to an introduction of badminton, how badminton is played, the rules of the game, the use of the court, basic strokes in badminton and the basic techniques as a badminton player
This course introduces and reveals to the students about silat athletics in terms of theory, technique and practice. Students will learn the background, rules and traditions of pencak silat. Students will also be emphasized on self-discipline. In addition, students will also learn the basic movements and the combined movements of pencak silat in a practical service.
This course will provide students with proper exposure and understanding of the importance and methods of practising a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise. Through the exercise practicum sessions, students will be exposed to the right knowledge, techniques, and skills of movement to improve self-confidence, and physical fitness in addition to reducing the risk of injury during exercise. In general, continuous healthy lifestyle practices can contribute to a healthier life for the students and the community.
Esports is the newest branch of sports and is getting more and more attention from many agencies in the country. This course aims to provide students with exposure to theoretical and practical knowledge related to the in and off the game, through various perspectives including the management of events. Students also have the opportunity to feel an immersive experience in working in the esports industry.
The volleyball sub core provides an introduction to the sport of volleyball which involves learning sessions of rules as well as basic techniques, namely servicing, buffering, baiting, stonewalling and blocking. The learning sessions emphasize the learning attitudes that will be evaluated at the end of the course. This sub core also emphasizes communication, leadership and teamwork through the implementation of the project community. The community service element is usually in the form of clinics and competitions for young people with the local community. At the end of this course students will learn the basic techniques of playing volleyball and form effective communication skills. To develop good relationships and interact with a multicultural society effectively. Adopting a moral and ethical attitude while being responsible for the performance of the assigned tasks.
The sub-core of TABATA sports is high-intensity exercise, or HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) introduced by Dr Izumi Tabata (professor from Japan) in the late 90s in the physical training of Olympic athletes at that time. Tabata exercises can increase the metabolic rate, help you achieve the desired fitness level in a short period, and train more optimal stamina. For those who want to burn fat and lose weight quickly, Tabata exercise is a simple type of exercise and suitable for those who are more comfortable exercising at home or anywhere. Each exercise movement is performed for 20 to 40 seconds interspersed with a short break of 10 seconds to take a breath (depending on the individual's ability). This exercise is followed by repeating each exercise repeatedly according to the set and accompanied by lively music such as techno music. The main target of the sub-core of this sport implemented at UNIMAS is for the preparation of individual students in increasing their fitness level in their health as well as fostering mental and physical preparation in the future employment phase, especially in preparation for undergoing physical test interviews, especially in the government sector. The requirements of students who want to join this sub-core of sports are those who are serious about improving their mental and physical fitness levels. Students can watch the latest Tabata exercise movement on Jordan Yeoh's YouTube channel, a fitness YouTuber from Singapore.
Subteras Futsal will expose students to an introduction of Futsal, how Futsal is played, the rules of the game, the use of the court, basic strokes in Futsal and the basic techniques as a Futsal player.
This is an introductory course to the basics of tennis from the skills to the rules of the sport. The basic skills include forehand, backhand, volley and service. Students will work together to apply the knowledge and skills learnt through a special project.
In Netball 1, students will be exposed to the rules and strategies of netball and apply soft skills such as teamwork skills and communication skills. Students will work together a lot through Special Project in selected community in line with UNIMAS as a community driven university.
In Dance and Fitness, students will follow several forms of dance while exercising through dances such as kpop,modern dance and zumba and apply soft skills such as teamwork and critical thinking skills. 3 on 3 basketball is a fun and fast-paced game that puts a premium on individual skills, teamwork, and creativity. With a smaller court and fewer players, there's more space to make moves, take shots, and show off your best dribbling and passing skills.

In addition to upholding values and discipline, this course enables the growth of individual key talents for goal-setting and collective teamwork apart from learning basic swimming skills by applying the 3 stages of learning in sport.

In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of silat art, with an emphasis on the discipline's history and education, the principles of technique and movement, and how silat art curriculum can be used in conventional sports and martial arts. This course can support the growth of self-worth outside of formal education, in addition to fostering high human values and soft skills through the program's structure. Also, this course offers students the chance to research, develop, enrich, and diversify silat approaches accordance with requirements and conditions.
This course will introduce students to basic of outdoor recreation such as hiking and camping. The students will be exposed to the implementation of fun, safe and beneficial outdoor activity.
This course offered to students with the aim of providing exposure and knowledge on how to do proper exercise and stretching. In addition to giving input about the rules found in the sport of sepak takraw. Students also have the opportunity to learn theoretically and practically which involves some basic skills in sepak takraw.
This course provides an introduction to the sport of ping pong which involves learning the rules and basic techniques, namely counterhit, topspin, backspin, chop, flick and serve. The learning sessions emphasize the learning attitude that will be evaluated at the end of this course. This course also emphasizes communication, leadership and teamwork through the implementation of special projects with elements of community service, usually in the form of clinics for young people.
Apart from exposure to soft skills, this course will expose students to archery such as in recurve, compound, traditional bow and barebow. In addition to exposing students to basic archery techniques, students will also be exposed to the basic rules of archery games based on World Archery standards. At the end of this course, students will be able to master basic archery skills and fundamental knowledge related to archery.
This course focus on health and wellness for all students. This course also includes theory and practical parts. The objectives of this course to give student knowledge related health lifestyle, the correct techniques for exercise, the correct diet technique and testing to measure fitness. Phase 1, student will learn related anatomy of human body and exercise physiology. Student also will learn related physical fitness especially health related fitness, which is cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance, muscle strength, flexibility, and body composition. Phase 2, student will learn related exercise techniques according to health-related fitness. In this phase, student also will learn and do the instrument testing for measure every health-related fitness. Phase 3, student will learn how to design training program according to certain goal example lose weight, improve strength, body tone, improve flexibility and improve fitness level. Phase 4, student will learn related diet including how to calculate calories according to certain age, weight, and gender. Student also will learn related food pyramid and how to design diet for lose weight.
Running is a continuation of athletics that involves various types of running such as fun run, 5km, 10km, Half Marathon, Full Marathon and any distances. Students will be expose to the basics of running, proper exercise and stretching exercises before running, equipment such as shoes, shirts and appropriate pants. Teaching sessions are theoretical and practical.
